Our Franchisees come from a variety of
backgrounds
Helen Wilcox (Preston Branch) was an
independent Mortgage adviser, Rachael Webb (Longton and Tarleton
Branches) was an IT Consultant, while Claire
Barton (Longton and Tarleton Branches) was a
housewife before she joined our team.
One
of our first franchisees was Rachael Webb from our
Chorley Branch. She says: “I was impressed when
MovingWorks sold my house for me so quickly. When
I discovered they were franchising I jumped at the
opportunity to start my own business as part of it
and I’ve never looked back.”

new recruits to MovingWorks
Amongst the most recent recruits to Moving Works’
growing empire are father and son team Phil and
Chris Days who opened the twelfth Moving Works
branch in Garstang, Lancashire in April 2006,
followed swiftly by a second branch in Blackpool,
Lancashire in September 2006.

The branches are a new venture for the duo, who
have worked in Garstang for the past seven years
at family business Mortgage Park. Moving Works’
refreshing approach to estate agency really
complemented what Mortgage Park already offered
and was a natural move for the enterprising team.
